"Happy Rav4" My third time having David's Auto repair one of my cars. Completed: OLF, Spark Plug Replacement ($322), Transition Fluid ($398), Rear Differential Service ($159) (7.17.15). Car runs well and I am happy! I paid less than the prices they quoted above when I picked up my car. Loyalty discount. In the past they even had washed my cars with the carwash next door but it was being repaired the day I picked up the car. They let me know that they were unable to was it in the carwash, but I noticed it was clean inside and out so they must have cleaned/washed it by hand a bit. The only improvement I can share is that they need to be clearer in communication when the repair is going to be completed. I would suggest they contact the owner if the time stated is going to be different since each time I have visited they have kept the car longer than expected. Or at least let me know if they will need it for an extra day or so. The few times I have been in I noticed they were quite busy and it would have been just as easy for me to bring it in the next day for repair at least this time.

"Pleasant experience" Having never been to Dave's before I stopped in to get a leaky line checked out. I signed in with Jessica and Dave took my car in right away. He showed me the leak in the A/C line and explained what it would take to fix it along with a written estimate. I thought the estimate was fair but because of the age and high mileage of my car I chose not have the work done since the functionality of the car was not affected. No reflection on David's Auto Repair. There was no charge for the diagnosis. I thought Jessica and Dave were very professional and would not hesitate to return in the future. Being new to the area it's always nice to know there's a good mechanic close by.

"Making the choice" I had them do a quote, they came back with a fair repair price, but I didn't have the money. They suggested applying for credit. I did and received a fair amount. Good thing to, they found the brakes were nearly gone. (I mean GONE) So, while the repairs ate all the credit, I found a shop who did something more. They don't do "Free Estimates" because they have to make the money elsewhere. So a $300 repair, is now $400 for me. I ain't paying for your "Freebie" But I was treated very well, a hiccup here and there, (It happens) but they ate the loss. Plus, I had to be somewhere the next day "If we don't finish, I'll take you myself" The owner said. (This was a round trip of 50 miles PLUS 1 HOUR wait time) Find a shop who'd do that...I DARE YOU.
